The Wii U is more powerful then most people think. Nintendo has way more money and time in R&D then the other consoles. They didn't just buy a off the self chip, they customize their chip. Sporting a GPGPU, we all going to see what the Wii U can really do. Bayonetta 2 sporting 1080p at 60 fps sounds good. Mario Kart 8 will run 720p at 60fps. The Wii U will hold its own against the other consoles.

Could you explain the inside joke behind the Wii U's power and RDR to me? I wasn't around at the time, and  I'd rather not summon you-know-who. It's hard enough tricking him into saying his name backwards to send him back to the 5th dimension.

The E3/gameplay videos I saw from various sources looked fairly detailed and large scale but I also noticed a lot of jaggies >_> Even without AA jaggies are fairly unnoticeable in 1080p. I'm not sure about this unless the demo is based on an older optimized build.



I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime. 

The NX will be a 900p machine

i thought it was 1080p :P

I read somewhere that Nintendo said their games will run at 720p.  You could very well be right, and that's even better.

Wont happen.

It was basically paid for by Nintendo, so Nintendo gets to decide which platforms it goes to. Its is not Platinums decision.

It says in the article "The demos at PAX Prime are from the E3 build"

Most of the resolution optimisation happens in the final stages of game creation, before going to approval for release.

They wont be spending time updating the resolution and things like that for the Demo, they will be concentrating solely on the actual game build

You don't know? He was saying that RDR is more impressive than X and was technically better in every way. He didn't just do it once either, he has done it for months.
