The only cheat code I use is all-31IVs, which I think is not really unfair.

The only cheat code I use is all-31IVs, which I think is not really unfair.

Unfortunaltely Im not too familiar with pokemon battling. Right now Im hyped for X/Y so I really try to get into competitive battling. So if I understand correctly .. you want to push all individual values of a pokemon to the maximum through an external software? like having a shiny pokemon??

However .. the algorithms that recognize cheated pokemons analyze the code of a certain pokemon . An external software simply changes some values to obtain changed IVs. These changed values wont fit to the rest code and hence your pokemon is recognized as cheated (probably there are also some hashing functions inside). I heared that they have pretty good algorithms to recognize cheated pokemons. They banned quite some people at the last event.

Short answer: No transfer!

Oh god! That's Charmander + Fennekin for me... how am I going to cover my water weakness? (At least their second type should differ - Fennekin looks like a kitsune so it should become a Fire / Psychic type later on)

Guys, how do you know the abilities of Mega Kanto Starters? I watched the whole Direct and didn't see a thing. How about Mega blastoise ability?

Shiny pokémon doesn't have particular IVs.

Competitive play with random IVs, I would definitely not like it. 

I guess I'll just play competitive battles on softwares like Pokémon Online. I won't play 10 hours catching the same pokes (using some Abra for nature purpose lol) just to have decent IVs anymore.
