2007 80bg backward compatible here, still running
Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

I do! :D Though sadly the disk reader has stopped working as of a few days ago. Other than that it works perfectly. It's quiet and runs games the digital version of games without a hitch.
I have an 80GB PS3 (from the Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle in 2008) that still works, although I did have to replace the blu-ray drive a couple years back.

We need to lock that thing up and study it. It's an endangered species.
I still have what was once a 60 GB launch model. I've since upgraded the HD first to 320 GB and recently to 750. It runs exactly as it did when I first bought it. i.e. fairly quiet until the fan kicks in after the first 10 minutes and then loud because of the fan but no buzzing. Every day I turn it on an pray that it starts. So far *knocks on wood* so good.
My fat is still running :) upgraded with 500g, running low with space.... But i'll wait for ps4 to upgrade
I have an 80GB from when that version was first released. (I think 2008, $400). It still works. I have noticed the WIFI download speeds seem to have slowed down in past year or so, not sure if it is actually anything wrong with console or not. Also it does freeze on occasion during games but it is pretty rare.
My fat retro ps2 buyed day 1, still work well, i am playing tales of xillia actually ^^
