I wouldn't worry too much about moneyhatting early in the gen. Especially since its pretty obvious, at least when going by preorders, the PS4 is going to do great from the start when compared to the Xbox One. Those exclusives will most likely be timed, or if they don't sell well on the Xbox One, publishers will try to make some of their money back by doing a simple port to the PS4. This will be doubly so for Japanese games.

I personally do not know why it matters if the PS4 does better than the X1 at any point of their lifecycle if you are a gamer. Gamers only care about games and having access to games. Which console is able to sell the most product is just alien to me. Instead I am concerned about having great gaming experiences which I do not want to miss out on.
As for timed or not timed, I am sure if the game is great then people want to play it when it comes out but whos to say that if the game is great its not MS smoking AAA game that spurs sells. This is a move to sell the console in Japan and evidently either P had something to offer MS or MS showed some cash for development either way its a win for both if they are able to deliver.

It seems like talking down and posting stupid gifs are part of the wanna be converting process. Reach one teach one i guess. Well that's how I see it. Talk crap and laugh at the competition to get them to switch to their platform of choice. I just hope they are getting paid for it.

Yeah, My mindset is totally different. I want both consoles to do great. I want Sony and MS fighting tooth and nail to get my money and I definitely do not want one to dominate. You do not get PS+ if Sony was dominating. You do not get MS changing old outdated policy if MS is dominating. There is nothing beneficial that comes from either Console maker dominating including Nintendo.
What most of these people do not understand is that when you have a healthy competition, then these corporations fight to get your money. When one or the other dominate then they just fight for profit.
