So recent runours and thingsi have read have pointed to both of these game being in development and both Jane no clear platform. I always presumed LBP3 would be on PS4 untill earlier when I read IGN thought it would be announced for PS3.. For me I would prefer both of these games on PS4 as I think it has more to bring to a new gen then releasesing them both on the current gen which already has 3 of both franchises on. 

What do you think? Should they release on the PS4 or PS3? I mean the issue I have the LBP was that 1 a gen was really enough. LBP2 was awesome but it was completely Unesassery and could have continued to patch and DLC LBP1. It's also caused the franchise to fatigue alot. I dunno I really hope LBP3 is going to PS4 and not PS3. R4 I don't mind as much but again more exclusives the better on the PS4

I am also hoping they totally reduce the number of games on PS3 to just a few Sony games next year... in fact i think they would be better off just paying 3rd parties to make content for PS3 rather than getting inhouse studios to bother.

I know they want to continue pushing PS3 sales, which is all good profit, but they would make more money from PSN+ subscriptions on PS4 imho (longer term profit).

MS are struggling right now, and if PS4 has the stock, you really want to provide more reasons why to upgrade asap, the more people that upgrade the less likely they will buy a second console (i.e many gamers who are not as committed to gaming may only buy 1 console a generation)

PS4. I think the PS3 has already a great platformer soon, Puppeteer and there'll still be a couple of third party shooters. The PS3 can then continue with cheaper platinum games, some upcoming JRPG games and perhaps a price-cut.

Littlebigplanet 3 will be great to see in february/march if launch is not possible. And Resistance 4 in september 2014? I think the PS4 will have a great pipeline with sequels and new franchises.

So do we think Resistance is being made by Insomniac or someone else?

Really... interesting. I think thats a good idea, because insomniac were getting a bit stale in the series and I don't think they really pushed it as well as it could of. Though the 3rd was certainly an improvement.

Wouldnt surprise me if that the case they do a Infamous, and just call it with a new name. Though i suspect the alignment of 4's might be too much to miss :)

The PS2 only saw one major first party game after the PS3's launch, and that was God of War 2.

The PS3 is already getting Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus and I think it would be extremely harmful if they made any more, so I assume that the next LBP (not called LBP3) will be on PS4. I don't think there will be another Resistance.
