I do, because it's a far better system in every aspect other than software support.

Ideally I'd like both consoles to do well, or at least have a fairer marketshare than it currently has.

In the Vita's current state, when taking SW library into affect, you want it to have a more comparable marketshare with the 3DS? Is that what you actually mean?

You mean you want a system that has a large/alright library of (some) great games to do comparable/a little better than a system that has not all that much in the way of games? I could see myself agreeing with you if the Vita's library was more comparable.

@Chapset; I'll take that as "quick death by sleep."

Yes, a more comparable marketshare would result in better 3rd party support. It's one way of getting it out of the "no gaemz trap". The Vita would not be in the same state if that happened.

I guess by "great" you mean popular?

That's just what I said I'd prefer, although with Nintendo 1st party IP selling power, it'll never happen. A "fairer" marketshare split is what I said would be ideal.

I love my 3DS and I love my Vita. I find it terribly petty for either side to wish the demise of the other.

Desktop: AMD Phenom X4 955, ATI Radeon 7950 :: Laptop: Intel i7-3532QM, ATI Radeon 7670m

Consoles: 3DS XL, PS Vita, Zelda 3DS, PS3 Super Slim, DSi, PSP Go, PS3 Fat, Wii, GameCube, PS2

Now Playing: Metroid Prime 2, Dark Souls, Fallout: New Vegas, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, Persona 4: Golden

The rumor that Vita is being bundled with PS4 may save it.

I just wish both sell more than 100M lifetime, and that this gen of portables be bigger than the previous. Who wins isn't important, as long as neither fails, and what's more both succeed and the industry thrives and grows overall.

I would like the thing to do good, but i feel that Sony just gave up on the thing, and theyre banking on PS4 remote play to sell it.

If Sony some how start releasing better handheld games than Nintendo, then yes. Otherwise no. I would hate to see the day where hardware sells hardware.

No. Two screens > one screen.

I want both to do well.

It comes to the quality of games and the support behind it by its parent company.

By default Nintendo will always put more effort behind their handheld than Sony. In ways it's more important than their home console.

So to answer the question, less than a snowballs chance in hell.

I think at this point. I rather the system just do GOOD and not get screwed. Don't bother shooting for 3DS numbers.
