Has anybody notice that 3 of the most important spammers has been banned(leo j , dtewi,soriku) ,well i guess this means we will finally have peace in the forums.

I view it as a loss. I don't like when we lose members...

Quality over quantity, my friends. I would much rather read 4-5 meaningful posts than 30 useless ones.

soriku really wasnt a spammer, truly 98% if his posts are all legit posts.

There is a relevant phrase I want to share with the community. While all answers are replies not all replies are answers. There are some that reply to a thread, but have no intention of providing a answer. Thus they have contributed nothing, and have wasted much.

Honestly we could do with a lot less gibberish, and a lot more intelligent discourse. While you might miss a poster for their humorous, and wasteful practices keep in mind that that kind of rampant stupidity so easily derails well thought out intelligent threads where fellow posters actually want to discuss the original topic. I suppose what I am saying is too many class clowns, make the class go dumb.

I am getting tired of threads filled with one line quips, and ten layer quotes. Seriously if your posting in every thread, and can only be bothered to write one sentence, or to jump in to say you agree with another posters while providing no substance to the discussion. I probably won't miss you when your gone.

i'll miss Kwaad more than i'll ever miss soriku or leo-j. Kwaad actually puts some thoughts (once in a while!) in his posts.

 Semi off topic, but the multilayered quotes is a nuisance and is something which I see as a flaw in the current forum design. Quoting someone else should discard any previous quotes and only have the post in question. While it might make it more difficult for someone new to follow some of the topic, if they are that interested they probably should read the entire thread anyway. I suppose it could have a linkback to the post allowing people to follow backwards through a conversation if they wanted.

As I've said before, I'd also like the option of turing off signatures and perhaps even avatars. It is annoying when 90% of the page is signatures.
