I kind of started a game of Witcher 2 on 360 and while the game looked great I thought it was slow and quite difficult (ok I'm a lazy a** sometimes). Also I find most medieval/magical games to be almost the same. Norse mythology, swords with some magic, dragons, rats and goblind, prostitutes yadda yadda... I even find TES boring so it's nothing geared agains't TW.

Witcher 2 is fairly challenging and the prologue level is pretty slow paced (it takes like 3 hours to finish the prologue), so I can understand how that might have dissuaded you. The pacing is alot better later in the game though, and the combat gets alot easier as well.

As for your apathy toward medieval fantasy, I can understand that, there are alot of similarities between medieval fantasy series, but then again the same can be said about sci-fi as well. I'm starting to feel that way about sci-fi, where I feel like most new sci-fi IP are just copying previous sci-fi IP, which leaves me with little desire to play/watch new sci-fi IP. That feeling kept me from playing Mass Effect for years, then some of you guys convinced me to play the ME3 demo recently and I enjoyed it, which made me want to play the whole ME series.

I will say that Witcher is pretty different from other medieval fantasy series though. The tone is darker and more adult, the elves and dwarves both have alot of differences from other medieval fantasy series, there are alot of unique monster designs. The concept of Witchers themselves is pretty unique among medieval fantasy series, there's nothing really like a Witcher in any other medieval fantasy series I've played/watched/read.

You know what, because you felt the same towards Mass Effect  which happens to be my all time fav sci-fi favorite game (next to Halo ofc) and you still gave it a chance I will do the same with TW. I will finish the second game on 360 then I'll know for sure if it's the same as other medieval games. How's that?

I get your feeling about sci-fi games though. I may like sci-fi more but I too think they lack originality and uniqueness most of the time.

I found The Witcher 2 also hard the first hours but you get used to it and the game is really nice. You should definitely invest some more hours to see if you really don't like it that much.

I was expecting Game 4 to beat Below, but that's not the case so far. I just don't see the appeal of Below. The character is so tiny I can barely see what's going on on my computer monitor, don't even know how it would be possible to play the game on a tv. The combat is apparently Dark Souls hard combined with permadeath. That combination of difficulty seeing, combat difficulty, and permadeath just sounds frustrating to me. Oh well, to each his own I suppose.

Looks like a good game :P If youe like me then you like over top view games similar to Zelda.  Plus i seek a challenge.  I dont want to feel like im a child being handed a medal just for competing.  I want to earn it

Does spark have online co-op?

Xbob may be on to something here

Best explanation for having Chief's team under Locke's image and Locke's team under Chief's image. Two cover variants

Double sided cover? That'd be interesting. #BlueTeam

Maybe not even double sided.  Maybe just two different box arts.  Collector's would eat that up and it would continue with the advertising campaign of #TeamLocke or #TeamChief

Yep, I voiced a similar thought last night. Definitely wouldn't be a bad idea

and I just recorded a video for a big KI announcement (not Cinder!) that you'll be seeing later today. Exciting community stuff!

Man we're still 5 months out from Halo and my hype level is already reaching critical mass......anybody got a time machine I can borrow?

So what is the big KI announcement that isnt Cinder? Season 3 possibly?
