Alien: Isolation official, coming late 2014

Creative Assembly's survival horror take on the Alien franchise being released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Sega has confirmed that Creative Assembly's oft-leaked Alien: Isolation is official.

The game, which indeed casts players as Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda, will be coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in late 2014.

Sega also confirmed more details about the game's plot. Amanda Ripley is in her mid-twenties and working for Weyland-Yutani, and arrives on remote station Sevastopol in an attempt to recover the flight recorder of the Nostromo. There's a xenomorph on the station, too, as you might expect, and Creative Assembly is absolutely adamant that the game will never arm players with an assault rifle and have them square off with hordes of aliens.

GameSpot's Mark Walton recently travelled to Creative Assembly in order to check Alien: Isolation. "After years of battling endless streams of aliens with a pulse rifle, it's nice to be reminded exactly how scary they can be," he wrote in a hands-on preview of the game.

Oh it says it is made by Turtle rock studios, 2k-interactive andCrytek is mentioned.  Maybe using the cryengine?
