Gotta be TLOD. It has the biggest potential to sell (and sell systems) among all Sony RPG's, and that's what Vita needs atm. Though Dark Cloud would work if they made it more social and more about fighting monsters, monster hunter style, while retaining many of the Dark Cloud elements. Could be big, but if it ever happens, it won't be before I am a millionaire

You know this guy named Verendus who claims he knows things and has a pretty decent track record afaik said Sony has a team working on a RPG to rival FF...I guess LOD would fit the bill nicely

I would love this.

With Sony we get variety and unique experiences, it's nearly always that way. And i'm glad they aren't dumping PS3 so suddenly like Nintendo did with the Wii. I see a couple more years with the PS3 at least.

This is also the reason why Sony doesn't have a mascot, which is not a good thing to have imo, they just have so much diversity that you can't say they only offer one kind of experience with the PS3 or any other console they have made.

Sony would've had a mascot if they had a smaller catalogue of games and poured all their focus and resources into one major game overall. Look at Microsoft, they've been trying to get outside studios to build new games for them since 2001 and in the end it still comes back to chief because none of them can measure up. Twelve years and only four brands to show for it.

Sony made a big mistake not sealing the deal on Crash Bandicoot and Spryo in the past because those were their mascots in the 90's. Those games sold like hotcakes and were made by companies which either work closely with Sony or are currently owned by them. It was a lost investment on Universal and Activision. People don't equate the product with them psychologically, which is why even when the titles  went multiplat up and Sonys co publishing stopped the world forgot about Crash. The 90's was the prime generation for iconic mascots.

Wii lasted 6 years, and the only reason Nintendo "dumped" it, is because while a good system, basically the best "SD" system produced, they knew they needed to jump into the HD era. If you want to see REAL "Dumping", go back and look at how Sega handled the Saturn.

Nintendo dropped the Wii because the casual fad fell into a slump and the allure of the Kinect took the casuals away. Gimmicks tend to do that. 3-4 years of strong sales with a limited supply then, bam.....the fad wares out once everyone has run the train on it and moved onto the next thing. This is also why MS has to bundle the Kinect. Watch and see what happens if they don't bundle it next gen. The Wii U could've come later, but they decided to beat the other consoles to the punch because third parties were demanding newer hardware and Nintendo was going to give it to them, just on their own terms....underpowered.
