Who the hell spends 250M on a western movie...Seriously rent a horse and go out in the desert and go shoot it. What the hell did they waste 250M on...
It was slow, generic, and boring. I love westerns, but this just felt like another action movie.

It's simple, because they can :)
Theres only so much space for the "Summer Blockbuster" popcorn flick. Some will have to flop. As stated earlier it being a western didnt help.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

The movie just isn't that good so it deserves all the hate it got so far. Also western can be great and profitable Django Unchained and the remake of True Grit proofed that as long as you don't go overboard with the budget. No Western should have a $250 million dollar budget. Ideally a Western should have budget around $50 million dollars.
It is plain and simple a bad movie in my opinion, and it takes a really bad movie for me to reach that conclusion(liked World war Z and Superman for example)

Before that Django Unchained was the most expensive Western ever made at $100 million dollars estimated budget and that was a bit of a risky move but it paid off since it made $423 million at the box office world wide. But to spend over twice as much then the most expensive movie in the same genre that usually doesn't perform as well overseas as domestically is pure insanity.
