i think he's saying indicating the system is better than reminding us that this is the fourth installment of the series. It's kinda deppressing to say Mario Kart 8, it just reminds you that this has been done 7 times. Not that I have anything against Mario Kart.

They should rework the name imo. Super Smash Bros is the original game for me. And when I'm speaking of SSBM or SSBB I refer to them as ''Melee'' and ''Brawl''. I rarely use the entire name.

''Yo dude, you wanna play Brawl with me?'' or ''I miss Mewtwo from Melee''.

Now I will have to use ''Smash WiiU'' and ''Smash 3DS''? I don't like it, not a big deal but they should work on it, it's not like it's hard.

Ah, now I see. Yeah I woulda prefered the number 4 instead also, though an actual subtitle like Brawl n Melee woulda been better so we can just say that subtitle when refering to the game.

Take the "for" out. Plus, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is also known as Luigi's Mansion 2 so a name change might still be possible. I think that they should utilize the U while retaining a classy name. Like Super Smash Bros. Universe. Still, I worry about the game in general because the Wii U version was an afterthought and is based on the 3DS's limitations. I guess we'll have to wait forever it seems. 2014 is too long a wait!

Where did you hear that the Wii U version was an afterthought? I mean, didn't they announce both at the same time even before the Wii U was revealed?
