You've been googling things like "Sony sucks" and "Sony copied nintendo" haven't you?

I miss doing things like that.

He probably just goes to Kotaku regularly. (Why would you want to?) They would explain most things.

Sony did remote play years before Nintendo.

what about what nintendo did with the gameboy and gamecube?? or what about what sega did with there controller and memory cards? (yes, some 'games' could be played ln memory card)

Not the same things as remote play at all.

Gameboy and Gamecube, yes. Well think of it this way 'remote play is not like the GB and GC,just like the kinnet has nothing to do with the wii motion .' which isnt true... i rest my case

You're rambling nonsense.   That is what you want to end this on?  FIne with me.

9/10

Ohh finally! After lilbroex and recently ListerOfSmeg melted and left the site, we needed a Nintendo fan to post how horrible Sony is, and of course how inferior their products and fans are! Now balance is brought back to the universe!

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Huh, that was quick. Good.

Also, Kotaku sucks for pretty much anything. Get your gaming news/aricles from Siliconera, Destructoid, or Joystiq.

Well, it seems unfair that Sony should have the lion's share of such people. Leave some for the other two factions, at least.

Copying good things is a good thing. Ignoring them would be worse.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

1. PS3 has had Remote Play for years, starting with the PSP and Xperia phones, far before the Wii U existed. The reason people think Sony is ripping off the Wii U with the Vita Remote Play is because the Vita finally has dual analog sticks and streaming capabilities to properly play PS3 games. It's also because it has a touchscreen.
2. PlayStation Move was in development for well over ten years. Here is a video shown in 2000 of the then called "Wand" working with the PS2 EyeToy. If anything, Nintendo copied Sony.

3. Near is a blatant ripoff of StreetPass. It also sucks ass. F*ck Near.

I feel like this is one of those cases of "DIGIMON COPIED POKEMON" problems.

Shhh, you could actually prove him wrong and he will have a meltdown and leave like the others.

Gameboy + Gamecube = Use Gameboy as a controller for a very limited selection of games.

Remote Play = Stream PS3/PS4 games on your mobile device.

How are these even remotely similar? You might as well accuse Onlive, SplashTop, Kainy, nVidia Shield, etc. too because they do the same thing for PCs.

I feel like this is one of those cases of "DIGIMON COPIED POKEMON" problems.

1) GBA could be used as a controller for Gamecube games, long before the PSP even existed*. Animal Crossing could send a minigame to the GBA to be played once it was unplugged from the console. DS also had wireless interaction between itself and the Wii. If you claim that this is "not the same thing", then you bring point two into doubt:

2) I could just say that a glowing ball for a camera to track is not the same as a controller containing tilt sensors and accelerometers. MoCap was done in 1996 anyway.

* Unless you can provide a youtube video from 1995 "proving" otherwise.
