Forums - Microsoft - Gamestop apparently doing all it can to push customers away from Xbox One.

So far two multiple GAF peeps have reported that their local gamestops are playing and focusing on PS4 no DRM stuff on their inner store TVs as well as handing out pamplets on Xbox One DRM policies.

Guess mass game consumer will find out. ;)

It's in their best interest, given how cumbersome used games are gonna be with XB1, and how identical with consoles today on PS4.
Being a "select retailer" will take its cut, as well.

Nice work, though. This DRM stuff cannot be allowed to stand, and GS is indeed mass game consumer oriented.

There's no way GameStop could be happy with the used game policies on the XB1.

Even if they are offered a merchants deal by Microsoft to resell the games through some unknown system, it's just adding unnecessary paperwork and overhead to their existing system. Added costs. Not to mention a middleman ready to take a big bite of what used to be their own used game pie: Microsoft.

We'll see. There might be some employees doing stuff, but I'm skeptical they're going to seriously take sides as a corporation.

Myself and my wife were in our local gamestop and I heard the guys behind the counter laughing with some guy regarding their suicide policy towards customers. When we went to the counter they were just kinda in disbelief at what microsoft were hoping to do and were laughing their ass's off at the "how to share your games on ps4" video from the Sony E3 show the night before, this was literally the day after Tretton threw down the gauntlet.

The store here actually only has signage for pre orders for Ps4 on the doors and behind the counter, no Xbone signs in sight.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Its all under a guise of informing the customer so when they sell consoles they don't have issues. Of course, how its presented by the local employees is what makes the difference. From all accounts its very negative towards MS.

Hilarious given how much they hated the PS3. I remember arguing with an employee that FF13 was for PS3 as he was arguing that it was a 360 exclusive. Now it will be the opposite!

PSN: Saugeen-Uwo     Feel free to add me (put Vg Chartz as MSG)!

Nintendo Network ID: Saugeen-Uwo

it begins...

I tell you, I will probably enjoy watching the fallout of this mess more than the actual games... what does that say about me?

the Market is up 1.21% today and most stock have rebounded a little.

MSFT however was't among the lucky ones.

MSFT is up around 20% year or year. Very good indeed, I been hearing that maybe its time for share holders to cash out before its too late.

The PS5 Exists.

^Then it's at least a little corporate, hmm.
