Sony Boosts Internal Sales Estimates for PlayStation 4

"Sony (NYSE:SNE): Sony has raised its initial internal sales estimates for the PlayStation 4, based on early indications that demand will be stronger than though previously. Now, one of the largest concerns among managementis the supply necessary to meet said demand. With a $100 premium over the PS4 and tighter restrictions on game sharing, Microsoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox seems to be pushing more gamers Sony’s way."

So estimates were 16million for Consoles PS3+PS4 a while back
Then 10million for PS3.
6million PS4 for FY, even more?

7.256million?

PSP Lifetime more than PSV+3DS Lifetime.

Good for them all i have been hearing from microsoft apologists/fanboys (the few that are still left) is that the xbox one is sold out on amazon still dont know what that means...so does amazon have 100,000 or 500,000 or a million+ plus available pre orders or what?

And so continues the "curse of the 3rd console" in the gaming industry.

It never ceases to amaze me how at the start of every single generation without fail, one of the major console manufacturers will inevitably shoot itself in the foot with a combination of arrogance and incredibly boneheaded decision making.

SEGA did it with the Saturn in '95.

Nintendo with the N64 in '96, and now three generations later they've done it again with the Wii U(!)

Sony did it with the PS3 in '06.

And now M$ has done it with the Xbone.

When will the madness stop?!?

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Things are looking up :D
All the online retailers have PS4 on top of their sales charts. I say that's a great indication of how things will turn out this holiday.
