By the by, did anyone actually enjoy using Pokemon Trainer in Brawl? I always felt like he was really clunky.

for the original i mained link. for melee i mained j-puff, and for brawl i guess i mained king DDD and ROB. The only change to any one of those that i'd like to see is jiggely puff. His sleep meteor is so hard to hit and got nerfed from melee to brawl. I'd really like to see it's power boosted again. Other than that thiere is nothing i'd change about those characters. Can't wait for the new one. So pumped for mega man. Hope ddd makes it back. In fact i hope the only nintendo characters to get cut are pokemon trainer, and lucario. I want someone to take lucario's place the way he took mew2's place, and i just don't like ash.. um i mean pokemon trainer. He was a good idea though. It would be pretty cool to see zant or ghirahim in the new smash, but i should stop that now; this isn't that thread.

side note. If the online is lagless i welcome all challengers for the following 5-6 years :)

So according to IGN's interview with Sakurai, neither version of the game will be making use of touch screen controls (at least in a way "directly relating to gameplay"), and the official titles are... rather unimaginative.

I never really expected touch screen controls to be utilized in gameplay, except possibly for certain Final Smashes. Still, I'm glad to hear this. Brawl was one of the few Nintendo games not to use motion controls in any way, and it was far better off without them.

Oh, and my main was Marth. KHLover pretty much covered everything that I might want to change about him. But I also used Sonic pretty frequently, and I think he'd benefit from a Homing Attack that doesn't take a curve every time it goes for an opponent. I'd also change his side-B into something different (does he really need two Spin Dash moves?), but something that can still be used effectively for horizontal recovery. Maybe a Sonic Unleashed-esque boost attack similar to Fox's (and his various clone characters') side-B. And to stick true to the source material, just make it more damaging than Fox Illusion, but on the flipside, make it harder to lose momentum after using it.

My little brother did. I liked him too cuz of the starter Pokemon.

Zero Suit Samus. She's a really good character already, but the big thing I'd buff is her grab/throws. It comes out fairly slow, it's super punishable if it misses, and while it can be worked into D-Smash hit confirms safely (D-Smash -> D-Smash -> Grab), it has nowhere near the actual killing potential of throwing in a side special or air attack after the second D-Smash. I'd also buff her down air, give it quicker recovery time once it hits the ground (it's incredibly unsafe if it whiffs or is blocked) or just simply allow for other moves to cancel it out (my personal preference of the two).

As for nerfs...considering it's the character I play, probably nothing. :p

Seems like a bit of backwards logic on Sakurai's part. "People can view the movies online, so we'll just have them unlocked from the beginning."

Come on, you're Masahiro Sakurai! Build another insane achievement grid and put the best movies in the toughest spots!

I wonder how the single player campaign will turn out if it's not like the Sub Space Emissary. Maybe a bit like other fighter with your character doing a number of fights before facing the final boss.

I don't think the individual videos being unlocked from the beginning means there won't be a huge achievement board like in Brawl. I love that thing!

I wasn't suggesting they were mutually exclusive, just that if the developers wanted people to really earn access to specific character videos, they could certainly do it.

Link, change nothing and you can see me winning major tournaments. I was too young when Brawl came out to go to major tournaments and too poor.

I really hope they add Shulk and maybe even Crono since he debuted on the snes.

As he is right now, Link needs a good buff in order to be viable in tournaments. His vertical recovery is his main weak point.

Believe me, I alleviate his weaknesses. Honestly he doesn't need a buff at all, I would be unstoppable if they buffed him!

*EDIT* Understadable if you don't believe me! Hard to prove my skill with the wiis online for brawl being so laggy.
