Let's be real and take the fanboy/girl out of everyone for this discussion.

Now that we've seen Microsoft's and Sony's E3 ... what do you honestly think of the console designs?  Personally, I'm not a fan of the X1 or PS4 design, but I'd have to give the edge to Microsoft.  The PS4 looks like two fat PS2 consoles slapped together that melted....  I think it also looks like a Nestle's Chunky candy bar unwrapped.

On the other hand, yes, the X1 does look like a VCR.  I can't say it's the most pleasing to look at.  I do like that it's uniform in design, though.

What do you like & what don't you like about your console of choice?

Anyways. I think Sony was trying to channel the PS2 with that design. It looks like a cross between the phat and slim

Well they're both pretty damn ugly but not as ugly as the SNES. Honestly I stopped caring about their designs, it's what's inside that counts =).

I hate to say it but i agree I feel like they tried to capture the ps2 era and slapped 2 ps2's together but it still looks smaller than the xboxone which i like and prob look better vertical

Really guys,I just woke up and was looking for a picture of the ps4. Had to google it and thought "ooookay, well, that's some dust-collecting design". Really, to me it looks awful, on par with XBone. Ugly as hell.

I liked it. Then I kind of liked it. Then CGI posted a picture of it. Then I didn't really like it anymore... (Although it is still better than the XBox One. I just can't stand how it looks! Ugh!)

I'd agree with this.  Ugh, I can only imagine the dust on the PS4 though....  I bet the revisions will be much nicer!
