Never said its a bad game. Just saying mathematically 90 > 70-79. Can't argue math.

Odd since every Forza is 90+ and GT is a 80's franchise this gen. GT PSP is in the 70's. Oooooh.....you must have meant sales. But since were gamers and quality should always take 1st priority, it is weird that sales is more important then quality in this regard. Guess each IP can't hold a candle to the other, it just depends on the criteria you view it as.

Cut the crap already, That's so juvenile. Both game franchises are premium ones. The quality of both is incredibly high. There's no question there.

You're a PS guy, Gran Turismo is the sim to go. You're a Xbox guy, you have Forza. Big deal?

Those arguments are so childish, it's incredible to see that they come from people that are in their mid to late twenties. -__-

Apologies. Still gets me when someone trashes Forza from a critical perspective. Turn 10s meta track record is among the rarest of any developer in the industry. Im fine with the sales disparity with GT, it has a deep history after all, but I will not let someone trash it from a quality perspective.

so meta scores are more important than actually trying the game you're self?, is no one allowed to defend GT as much as you defend forza?, and dont just assume that as forza has great quality on the 360 that will continue with the xbox one, look what happened to PD, GT5 needed a lot more work on it after it launched to make it what it is today and as metacritic refuse to change a score once its put on their system regardless if it's their own error they enter the wrong amount.

GT4 was for its time one of the best racing sims with both graphics and physics compared to it's rivals, dont just assume that any developer who has great quality on the current gen be be top again on the next gen, anyway this is well off topic as this thread it about which game will have better graphics not which will be the better game (just dont forget about project cars, there may be further development for both the xbox one and PS4 to put both FM5 and Drive Club to shame but only time will tell).

This thread still going? Fm5 will look good as will drive club
Both are different kind of games 1 is sim style the other PGR arcade style

If its pure visuals then drive club may look better, but as I said earlier FM5 will have a much higher budget and may be more polished

Diminishing returns mean that many next-gen titles have failed to provide sufficient visual wow (so far at least), but that's not the case with Turn10's latest.

It looks like a genuine, bona fide next-gen title, and visually it leaves PS4 rival Drive Club (an intriguing game in its own right, but that's another story) in the dust.

Digital Foundry

Sony's press shots for DriveClub look pretty cool, but despite some neat features such as proper vehicle deformation and some beautiful lighting, the low quality, blurry textures looked a world apart from what Forza 5 was achieving running at twice the frame-rate.

The fact that Driveclub is winning is telling of the audience here. No offense.

It's just that simple.

From what I have seen, there is no competition. Forza 5 looks a lot better at this stage, but that could change - maybe. The first Motorstorm on PS3 looked impressive, so I am sure the guys behind DC can pull off a great looking game, but right now the ground textures look poor and flat. Car models are good while F5's models looks great.

Saw this over on NeoGaf

The gameplay shown at E3 looked nothing like this,so what happened here?

Some better quality offscreen gameplay:

Here's a quote from the DF analysis of the E3 build:

When questioned, Evolution Studios confirms that it's pushed for a full-fat 1080p presentation, falling in line with all Sony's other leading PS4 titles. Unfortunately, this higher resolution only amplifies the low quality, blurry, flat-looking textures used across this level, which would easily look at home on current-gen hardware. It's also a shame that, while the scenery draw distance is broad, there's an incredible amount of pop-in for trees and waving NPCs as we approach at high speeds.

The game doesn't have much time till release either.

Drive Club

Forza wipes the floor with Drive Club right now. Anyone who says different is kidding themselves. It's not even a competition.
