You pretty much hit it spot on with this statement. The writer of this article seems upset about something, or he just really has a blind point he wants to prove. The article was poorly written.

I don't care. I didn't expect any 3rd-party games on the WiiU when I bought it, it is a pretty pure 1st-party console for me. As long as Nintendo makes a even-so-slight profit off the WiiU in the end I won't even care if we only see one iteration of all major Nintendo franchises on the WiiU before Nintendo pulls the plug.

My backlog is long enough as it is, the time between two major releases is easily filled since I got stuff besides gaming to do and am a multiconsolero.

Anyway, 3DS has been doing terrible numbers without the unprecedented EA support. Wii U is doomed.
