Not bad Monster Hunter.

even rakuten preorders have xenoblade ranked much higher than COMG im pretty sure. i feel like everything other than COMG has it doing at least decently, whilst its... kinda flopping here.

Even at games that did well on Switch, the ratios seem to be much higher than normal.Mario for example did 500k on FW while it was around 200 points on COMG.Dont know, since COMG number of shops have diminished, maybe they are not as representative as they were.Hopefully for XC 2 at least.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I think it's important to take into consideration the kind of game Mario is to understand the pre-ordering pattern of the targeted audience. It's fair to assume the more casual market that a game like Super Mario Odyssey appeals to might be more inclined to go buy a game in-store on day one (or the next few days) rather than pre-order. It tends to be the other way around for JRPGs or any genre with a more dedicated audience. I still expect a great ratio for Xenoblade 2 but probably not as strong as Super Mario Odyssey.

Well, let's not forget Xenoblade New 3ds!
It ended up with 27p on comg and had 1:3000 preorders to sales ratio.

Yeah, you are most likely right.Just trying to make sense why its so low here, while its doing at least decently on other retailers.

Rex is so ugly that even Japanese gamers are giving him the boot.

That and it won't have an untracked bundle giving it tens of thousands of sales that weren't counted for COMG.
