I was just on gaf, forgot that if it opens this high itll be as crazy attach ratio as melee was on gcn!

 

Like i said b4 if switch had a userbase of at least 4-5mil splat2 would of opened up over 2mil+ easily

If it opens that high physically, given the small file size it will almost certainly cross a million in just a few days in Japan alone...dang.

Oh and yeah, it's hilarious looking back at all the people who were like "$300?!  LUL SWITCH DOA HAHA" now that the Switch is keeping pace with or surpassing the PS4 on Amazon charts in Japan and the US at massive markups like $120.

As I said splatoon is now the biggest ip in japan. That big a launch on such a small install base. 5m should be the absolute minimum it sells.

And damn those Switch prices, 50k??? And people thought 300$ would be too much already

DQ11 ps4 just went back on top.  The fact it's competing with splatoon 2 especially when a 3DS version exists is crazy!

Maybe even day one when including digital version of the game. That's just insane considering that the console only sold barely over a million times yet.

with roughly 1m Switches sold in jpn right now and maybe 250k additional ones for launch I doubt 1million fw sales is an actual possibility - that attachrate would be nuts, even with 700-800k fw it's going to be ridiculous
