MHXX Switch Ver. doing worse, than I thought.

Well I suppose it is a late port of an expansion of a spin-off which came out even later and also is on a console that only recently came out with an under 1 million install base.

I was thinking it reach 200-300 pt., but looks like will be rather 100-200 pt. (if it goes well).

EDIT: I think Rakuten is a better metric than Amazon. It has hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly rankings. It represents more than 35% of the e-commerce in Japan, while Amazon is below 20%. Japanese people do love purchasing online and more than 90% (no joking here) of Japan's internet population have an account there.

The dragon quest domination continues.  Topping the chart again!

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Some were expecting it to beat Dragon Quest and take the 2nd spot. Weird expectations are weird..

That's correct.  Before it showed up we were expecting it to go into beast mode. It hasn't happened.  Maybe the MH fans can't actually get hold of a switch because it's so supply constrained and therefore aren't bothered pre ordering yet.

Expecting a port for a spin-of to go beast mode is one thing. Expecting it to outrank Dragon Quest despite a late start is utterly naive to put it lightly.

I have a little sympathy for those crazy predictions. MHX was a late gen spin off and it outperformed most people's expectations. Then MHXX did well.  So MHXX for Switch not long after you can forgive people for thinking it would light up the chart right away.
