Well, here's the positions of the different versions of the game at the time of writing:

 

  1. Standard edition on #1
  2. Amazon exclusive edition with a squid girl metal charm on #10
  3. Amazon exclusive with squid metal charm on #23
  4. Digital version on #26
  5. Splatoon game bundled with a splatoon-themed travel bag on #37
  6. Amazon exclusive edition bundle inkluding all 3 metal charms and all 3 new Splatoon Amiibos plus the new Splatoon-themed Pro controller on #72
  7. Amazon exclusive with squid boy metal charm on #82
And for the console bundles:
  1. Standard Splatoon Bundle on #80
The other Splatoon Bundles dropped out of the Top 100, but these additionally inkluded either ARMS, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or a travel pouch, and all apart from the basic bundle also included a screen protector.
Btw, looking at the Bundles the "charms" inkluded with the different game versions seems to be sticker packs (google page translate ain't exactly accurate)
And yes, I'm not squidding, these positions and versions are for eel!

No need to apologise to me as I don't care much for Splatoon.  But plenty of others do and you spoil it for them.

ARMS will go up a bunch after the Testpunch, I'm sure of it.

I do hope you are right. I can't help but feel the bump was a tad bit on the small side after dedicating almost an entire direct to the game, but I suppose the splatoon trailer might have overshadowed the game in japan. Hopefully the testpunch will make people more interested.

Splatoon was the same and tbf if you watch that direct wouldnt you wait to test the demo first if it were coming so soon b4 pre orderibg 100%

Well yes but Splatoon also had the market for itself, while ARMS are going to release a month before Splatoon, in the midst of the testfires and all the hype. I fear Arms will end up drowning in splatoon, much like we now see a clear splatoonbump and only a very tiny one for Arms. Unlike splatoon I think Arms will have a stronger showing in the west than in japan.

Thats a given. Splatoon type of game happens once in awhile. Like maybe once or twice per generation

Just letting you know long before you started posting here there was a tradition not to spoil the charts.  When I was new to comg I used to spoil them but I stopped when the regulars asked me not to.
