both Pokémon SuMo started pre Orders with 127 days left. Monster Hunter is at 154 Points after 2 weeks of pre Orders, Pokémon got 157 Points in ONE DAY.

Pokémon continues to be the main topic at stores. From now we should see an increase for Nintendo games, and the Christmas campaign seems quite crowded. Some stores are targetting Sun and Moon not only for kids, but also for the female population, especially Sun Edition. Furthermore, all kind of merchandising is arriving, as this boxers with Gengar.


At Sofmap Akiba, we have Persona 5 The Animation ads. So, it seems the airing for The Day Breakers will be interesting to follow.

Yakuza 6 is also about to release, but reservations are ok-ish, though.

Nothing Boutros-san. At least, nothing big. Stands showing the game are everywhere. Mega-ads and stuff like that, not really. At Sofmap Akiba as you can see, they prefer Persona 5: The Day Breakers rather than Noctis.

It looks like SE never expected FFXV to be huge in Japan so didn't invest in a massive advertising campaign. I wonder did they divert those resources to the west or did they just cut the costs.

I love the way Japanese stores sort out the new releases with their own small sections, full of posters/copies of the item/previews/headphones. They do the same for music releases, and it never ceases to make me smile.

God, I would love for Final Fantasy to go super Saiyan and get them points, but it is set to be a disappointing release.

Wait, there's a new Digimon game coming out for the 3DS?
