NIS not doing well.  There's talk on GAF of them expanding on to Steam (overseas distribution - so NISA) and doing more mobile work

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=164041594&postcount=377

nis america had a net income of $1.1m. it seems they make up 64% of all revenue for the company.

nis japan's plans for the new year:
-keep making new intellectual properties
-witch and the hundred knight ps4
-start supporting steam
-develop for mobile
-expand more overseas
-improve/strengthen relationship with nisa
-improve/strengthen human resources and management

I think it sounds really cool having two different sides to play, and they really seem like two complete games.  I want to play as Nohr first and give myself a challenge.  Yes, for the west I think they will sell as one game, but I guess they think Japan won't mind buying them separately.

I hope that is the case, or at least the 2 seperate campaigns realy are as packed as they claim. But for now, we just have to take their word on it... : (

I think the concern was definitely fair in the beginning because of 1. How much content each game will have and 2. Are the games chapters just going to mirror each other, basically saying your on the opposite side every chapter. (Like Ch 6, the decision chapter)

Good news is the 2nd point has been proven to be totally the opposite case. No mirror version for each game, instead Depending on which side you choose, They'll be completely different in story + each chapters battles/layouts/enemies/etc.

As for Point 1, The first 6 chapters (and prologue?) are the same with ch 6 being the side you choose. That said the game is already hinted at over 26 chapters each (Awakening had 27) with white version having the same formula as Awakening with its map system and extra chapters for exp gains/etc.

My prediction as of now is we'll see.....

White Version= 27-28 Main Quest chapters with 10-14 side chapters.

Black Version= 34-36 Main Quest chapters

DLC Third Path= 15-25 Main Quest chapters (who knows)

Despite them "not doing well" they still made money. Again.

Can't wait to see the doom speak with the "Net Income is down 96%! They're going under!" without mentioning that they still profited.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."
