Comparisons between the two are pointless. Nobody in their mind thinks that WiiU version will be close to the 3ds, and personally i dont kno why people bring it up all the time.

That said it'll be more front loaded than MK8 but will still have amoung the best legs this entire generation.

Eh I remember a few threads asking which version would sell more and quite a few thought the WiiU version would...


in japan, you must be crazy (talking who predicted it), WW i doubt it. WiiU will do around 5mil, 3DS maybe like 7-8mil

I'm not 100% sure. I'm just not expecting it to do insane numbers in Japan, on a platform with 1,93 million total sales (in JP), especially when it has a handheld version.

When I say "Not too good", I mean when taking in account that Smash is, according to yourself, Nintendos largest franchise. Ofcourse it'll do great compared to most games, but I don't think it'll do that good compared to previous entries.

Note that this is only in regards to the Wii U version.

Wut? Since when is Smash their largest franchise?? Far from it. I could name several that are bigger (Mario Kart, Pokemon, 2D Mario)


on home console, and i said  biggest system seller, while its still a top 3 if not top 5 franchise

Dont take the title to another level it was a joke. Overall MK is bigger but to dismiss smash is itself am offense!!

Well in that case it would still be only #3 or so. Last gen 2D Mario and MK sold a lot more consoles than Smash could dream of. Might be different this gen but I'm thinking they'll all be more equal instead of Smash overtaking the others.

No that was a bet thst was 200k, Your prediction was 100k originally dont front.

And i openly admit when im wrong, i even made a thread of how terrible of a prediction it was, you spinning it back on me makes you look super Salty XD

Edit: Btw, the prediction i made was alot more believable than yours at the time. Mine was definitely optimistic as hell, but yours was beyond a terrible prediction, thats the difference. Look at prediction on 3ds sales last year. Many predicted 15mil-18mil, it fell short of even that despite my 20mil prediction.

Yours though.... Yeahhhhh 100k for an opening of SSB (in japan thats HH crazy?), only reason u predicted low is because you dont like SSB >_>
