If this game is indeed a launch title i might the ps4 day 1.

It is rumored to be a launch title. I will try and find where I saw it.

Looks good. I will still have to give this game a try first though. Although I liked the first 2, I kinda think this one is unnecessary.

Lots of high rise buildings with scaffolding and dual train surfing! I'm going to love this game.

I kinda feel that way too.  Not that it's unnecessary just that I don't like the power premise as much as with Cole.  I don't know I'm not a big "punk" or "fight the man" kinda guy so the general attitude kinda rubbs me the wrong way but if gameplay is awesome when they show it I'll still be picking it up as character and the power type weren't all that was awesome about 1 and 2.

Don't have to bring back Cole (I commend them for not being bogged down by a particular character's story and not having to make it a trilogy like everything else just because) just make him less "punk"y and I'll be happy.  I don't know I just don't like the cocky punk kind of protagonist but like I said gameplay is king and Infamous 1 and 2 nailed the open world (awesome side missions and fun ways to navigate with plenty to do and upgrade) so I'm still excited to see gameplay and will get it if it's a launch game.

Idk, I don't think he looks all that punkish to me.  He has more of a rocker look than anything and I think there is a difference.  Punk to me is all black with spiked hair and eyeliner and fingernail polish, which could also be called emo by some.

Amen brother haha. inFAMOUS 1 is one of my all-time favorite games behind only MGS4 and U2. I was so excited for inFAMOUS 2, but it ended up being the most disappointed I've been in a game all generation (potentially ever). It was so inferior to inFAMOUS 1 in virtually every way, with the gameplay and story being its worst aspects.

You GOTTA give INFAMOUS 1 another try. It starts out really slow, but it gets better and better -- story AND gameplay wise. I think anyone who only played the first 4 hrs would dislike inFAMOUS. Its like wine: it improves with time;)

I could hardly go back to Infamous 1 after playing Infamous 2 because the combat and everthing else was vastly improved, IMO.  Infamous to me is a chore to play through now.  But, to each their own.
