Considering how EA was behaving, this was expected, really. So if you dont enjoy EA games and have a WiiU, you dont have nothing to worry about.

Frostbite stopped working on Wii U as soon as the Origin online deal fell through. It's sad for Nintendo gamers how EA is acting, but it's what they've done since the Genesis/SNES days. They have a corporate ideal that Nintendo is their main rival for becoming the world's largest gaming software company, and the best way to hinder Nintendo's software is to not support their hardware. It's a terrible strategy for EA since it means they miss out on easy sales from ports, but it doesn't seem like it's going to change. In fact, it's only getting worse since the Origin debacle.

Like I've said before we'll see Frostbite 3 tools and support coming to the Wii U sometime next year unless EA aren't interested in making money...mind you, EA are and always have been the worst run publisher in the industry so nothing would surprise me lol.

Same goes for UE4 too.

We are already seeing their debacle, 1000 lay offs is something to be very worried about. Lets see how they do in the future.

People should definitely be upset. I own a WiiU and I want the Next Dead Space, Mass Effect, Star Wars games. This isn't a question of EA. It's the fact that they own some very talented studios that will produce fantastic games that WiiU owners will miss out on unless they buy another console.

even ps4 and nextxbox owners wont get the next dead space. since it wont be created at all

So FB3 works on PS360 but not on Wii U which can produce better graphics and have newer/modern specifications? The logic, it's nowhere.

Well only it doesn´t. Frostbite 2 barely runs on those consoles.

stock at close to multiyear highs, just secured a multiyear deal for a very lucrative franchasie?

Ps3 and Xbox360 getting Battlefield 4 (Frostbite 3) while it barely runs Frostbite 2? I still don't see it (the logic). EA isn't even trying with this one. They're a horrible pretentious company.

The Wii U could have been a sucess of PS2 levels if the publishers and developers didnt undermine it since the start with engine compatibilities. As such, its a nintendo box. No one really cares if EA brings their crap to the box anymore. They already ruled themselves out and no one is gonna buy the box because of them and therefore no one will be disappointed.

Now, to see if that was the right course of action and if 1: Next gen consoles manage to sell well and 2: Consumers dont start adopting the Wii U like crazy with a price cut and popular games out later this year.

I really really doubt that, like seriously doubt that. The PS2 didn't need some gimmick control or to bow down to casuals to sell, the software did all the work. The crazy amounts of software from all genres available got it done, not to mention it wasn't in Cube form. No console right now, not even the PS4 or 720 will amount to the monsters sell the PS2 pulled off, unless Kinect 2 kicks integration in gaming to the next level which could be a huge selling point. That is, if they don't decide to waste their entire budget for Kinetic games on freaking dance games.

Oh heavens. How utterly comical.

Crytek and Epic have also claimed that their new Engines don´t support the WiiU and Cryengine 3 "runs" on PS360 as well I mean it is barely playable but it runs.
