According to this pulled page from the Precursor Games' website, initial platforms are Wii U and PC. Doesn't 100% confirm anything at this point, but it gives a good idea at where things are headed.

Dangit, I don't know if I should be jumping of joy or deeply concerned. I've waited for a sequel for ten years and it's amazing that it's actualy coming now but I would have prefered a proven developer like Retro Studios to make it. I don't know what to expect from this game quality wise and if they mess up I'll be forced to erase them from history.

This where Nintendo if smart swoops in and offered up more than the asking 1.1 million to make it exclusive for the wii u. Odd that they would only offer it for wii u and PC at first. There are no legal issues about the ip is there? As a starter company I would want as much exposure as possible. I would think an Xbox and ps3 would be announced first. Either way the first one was awesome cant wait.

It looks great but I am not sure if I trust these guys to deliver on a promise anymore. I won't be donating to this game but if it comes out and is great then I'll buy it. It has huge potential.

Isn't Eternal Darkness a Nintendo owned IP?



     
Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Console wise, if this is truly a Wii U exclusive, this is a really good move for Nintendo, the game Nintendo needed to give them a new image.
