There is also a lot to worry about.

Kinect hasn't been good ... at all... so far. So to assume it will be great or improve any of those titles is just making an ass out of u and me.

The Kinect games that came out so far were simpler games. The games that will have deeper kinect integration will take more time, as a result almost all of them are in developement for the faster more capable Xbox 720.

Plus If I was Microsoft or a game developer thinking of Integrating Kinect into a game It would be better to use a better faster technology in Kinect 2.0 and launch my game on a new console. Developers always like to do this even with regular games.

Reports have all indicated that MS has had hardware and software related delays in prep for its launch. This stems back from 2012. So I doubt you'll see more than 2 exclusives at launch. One will be solely Kinect based. (read kinect sports 2 / Nintendoland type of game)

Every company has delays and set backs You can bet you even Sony and Nintendo are having set backs this is nothing new its just people are making it into news.

The hardware will NOT be technically as fast/powerful as PS4, but well ahead of Wii U. Likely this won't matter, but keep in mind that had X360 not had the 1yr head start, it would have been 3rd place all generation.

The Hardware will be powerful enough. There hasn't been any indication from Game Developers that the Xbox 720 will be inferior to PS4, On the contrary I have been hearing Xbox 720 and PS4 will be similar.

The off and on rumors about forced internet connect to play even solo player games is a big deal. It will hurt a substantial % of users in every territory the world over. Granted I don't think its true and whatever they do require in terms of DRM will be the same on PS4.

Microsoft aren't dumb. Let's say they make a mistake and it really starts to hurt Xbox 720 sales, It will take nothing to open the system up with software updates. Look at the software changes Xbox 360 went through as an example. Microsoft is a software company it's the companies DNA it's there bread and butter.

I honestly think Sony may be the best one prepped for its next-gen launch solely because they had the most issues last gen and took the time to best prepare. Not that I don't love my Wii U, but no one can ignore the items Nintendo failed to be fully ready for. I'm just glad there is no RROD type issue as the rest will resolve themselves by Xmas.

One thing I know about Microsoft, they never make a big mistake twice. Xbox 720 will be ready hardware wise for launch. Software probably won't be ready, but thats what system updates are for. Always-on can be a benefit if used in the proper way. Imagine the Xbox updating itself and updating games while you sleep. Cool Heh!

Perfect dark would be nothing but a shell of its former self, sadly like all of Rarewares Ips.

Why did he put Call of Duty in the article? It's not exclusive unless they're doing some timed DLC stuff(again).

They died?!

1. We don't actually know what Kinect 2 is capable of.

2. You have the right to think nexbox will be awesome, but it hasn't been announced and know nothing about it.

3. Also, wouldn't being able to dynamically talk to NPC's be very very demanding on the console specs and that won't be present, if at all probably, for a long while, so I don't know why you brought it up.

4. There may be some people who thought MS has dropped the ball on the nexbox, but you can't say that they haven't either because it's not even been announced.

I would rather see this kind of thread when there is actually stuff that is confirmed.

''imagine being able to talk to npc's and watching them listen to you''-- the F DOES THAT MEAN?.. were you thinking they were gonna be looking at pigeons while you talk to them.?...
