Forums - Gaming Discussion - Am I the only person here who dislikes GTA?

I am a fan of GTA but the 5th entry doesn't have me hyped as the last ones, I am more interested in Watch Dogs.
Will play it eventually tho

I bought GTA IV this saturday on Steam, I have put 20hrs. into the game so far and have yet to start it today...It must do something very right. A WiiU version of GTA V would be day-1 for me, I'd probably even give up on Wind Waker HD for it.

Dislike GTA? I didn't know this was possible!!!! JK obviously.

No, I pretty much never enjoyed it. i Feel the story lacking of subtence and strong plot. who will drive you to the end.

not hey dude, I will need some pot and BLAMO ! I would like you to drive this truck with a bomb in front of the police station.

the main atagonisme should atleast have charisma, and charisma goes both way. good or bad.

That is also because you get older. I think the best story I heard is about two children a boy and a girl who were playing GTA..

They were driving around in an ambulance while making up a story themself. Basically driving around picking some imaginary patients up and drive to the hospital and they went on hours having fun while not doing any missions or mini games...

As a grown-up you can only feel jealous because even with all those mini games and missions it gets hard to even come close to have fun like they have...

I use to dislike the series. Play red dead redemption and then fell in love with gta. Maybe it will grow on you?

I have disliked all GTA games, but I too fell in love for RDR.

The original was great. The rest are shite.

I find the driving around causing mayhem to be the most boring part of the GTA games, its fun for like 10 minutes. I play the games for the story and the characters which for the most part is very good. Though there are alot of stuff in them that i sure hope they have fixed for GTA V. Like the awfull controls or the fact that the story really feels very disconnected at times from the gameplay

I liked GTA 3 a lot but that's the only game I played for an extended amount of time. The other games just felt like more of the same.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

You should of gotten the GTA Complete Collection which had all the games so far in the series (except for the London and China Town wars games) for $12.49 D:

Did you get....Episodes from Liberty City :O? We should play the multiplayer together if you did *-*!

Sry, I didn't. With all the bills I had to pay this month I couldn't even justify the additional 5€ for both DLC's, especially not with the ~3000€ I still have to pay my parents for my car^^

We could play the multiplayer in the main game, though (or do you just have the stand-alone DLC's?)
