Been looking around for a really good tv for quite some time, I need to get ready for next gen. Anyway I found a good deal online and I'm wondering compared to the specs of tvs today is this tv a good buy, I can get it for $570 with a coupon I have.

I don't know the usual price range of TVs in Canada but for the mentioned price I would say it's definately worth it if I could get it in my country.
As for the TV itself I can't tell you much from hands on experience because I have two Sony Bravias in my house, never had a Sharp but from the spec sheet it looks like a decent, budget friendly mid end TV with a really big screen. As cons go - edge lit LEDs, only 3 hdmi ports if it would be your main TV it may prove too little. But Sharp has usually good quality TVs at least in their high end tier for a little premium. If you're not a best quality enthusiast you should be happy with it. If you can check it somewhere, check the input lag of this model as it's a important factor given it's gaming purpose.

Apparently it's only 60hz I was hopoing for something higher like 120 or 240, ill it be a problem?

Well the thing with the higher refresh rate is a bit tricky. I have a 100hz TVs and play with motionflow enabled which artificialy puts another frame into the picture beetween two normal rendered frames and the result is something resembling games in 60fps when they are normally 30fps. The more stable the framerate (uncharted, Killzone) the result looks better.

But.

1. Sony has really good algorithms in their Motionflow option, don't know about Sharp.
2. It might add jaggies and artifacts in the picture, and always adds a lot of lag so most gamers would crucify me for using it ;-P although I don't really feelthe inconveniece from the added lag but only use it during singleplayer not multi.

When it comes to watching TV with higher refresh rate a lot of people say it makes this "soap opera" effect and don't use so I wouldn't say it's a dealbreaker although I personally would search for a TV with 100hz or higher refresh rate. If I recall correctly 240hz is the highest, higher stated refresh rate is marketing bs not a actual number.

I bought it 5 years ago and it's a 32", my next buy I would like atleast 47".

You should get a 47 inch VIZIO Smart 3D HD TV.

Theres 60 Hz & a 120 Hz Razor. The difference seems to be $10 between 60 Hz & 120 Hz razor. And the total price seems to be $550 to $640, depending on where you get it.

WalMart seems to have great deals on TVs.

P.S. you should get rid of the PS Vita will outsell the 3DS in your signature. The PSP has sold more in its first 1 month then the Vita 1 year.

60 Hz & higher is just fine.

I wold not recommend it at retail price, but if you can get it for that deal than it seems like an alright option, honestly unless your a videophile the difference in quality between entry and mid level TV sets is fairly small. Just get what fits your budget and needs and you should be good to go.
