I love how Obama backpeddaled in the "Summer of Recovery" a few years back.

Remember a couple of summers ago he named the summer "Summer of Recovery" Why would he name it that if he didn't think things were going to get much better? The Summer of Recovery was a huge failure. He obviosuly thought his policies would turn things around.

Both parties are to blame for the housing crisis but it amzing how many people give Clinton a pass.

Also I am not seeing people mention Barney Frank (who Bush warned about the dangers of pushing loans for low income families)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iW5qKYfqALE

And then Obama is looking to repeat the same mistakes (pushes banks to make home loans to people with weaker credit) as if he hasn't learned anything from the last time.

"The Obama administration is engaged in a broad push to make more home loans available to people with weaker credit, an effort that officials say will help power the economic recovery but that skeptics say could open the door to the risky lending that caused the housing crash in the first place.

President Obama’s economic advisers and outside experts say the nation’s much-celebrated housing rebound is leaving too many people behind, including young people looking to buy their first homes and individuals with credit records weakened by the recession."

Insanity

When was the last time Obama has even discussed jobs? He's talked about everything but jobs and the economy. Like gun laws, gay marriage, womens rights, etc. That's all he's good for is making a speech.

Maybe he was busy talking about jobs while he was not meeting with Congress for 73 straight days (even though the deadline for the Sequester Cuts was looming)

Nah.....he was probably too busy golfing.

What kind of leader acts like avoiding the Sequester was so important and he didn't even meet with Congress for 73 straight days when the deadline was looming.

Amazing leadership.

If you study American history you will know that Obama is not even close to being the worst president in US history.
Try Zachary Taylor, Herbert Hoover, William Harrison, John Tyler, Millard Fillmore, Andrew Johnson, Warren Harding or James Buchanan. But I am pretty sure the large majority of you probably have never even heard of these presidents

This was my thought as well. People have way too short of a perspective on these issues. All people are talking about is Obama, Bush , and maybe Clinton and the first Bush.....history is much longer than the last 30 years.I think people forget the presidents during the Civil War period, excluding Lincoln.

The problem is, it is incredibly difficult to place presidents until atleast 10+ years down the road after you can take a more comprehensive look at the implications of presidential policies and the long-term trends of the political environment. In addition, more information comes out about the activities of the president, Eisenhower probably being the best example (people originally thought he didn't do much of anything legislatively, but it turned out he was very active behind the scenes).

The W (pronounced 'dub ya') says hello. Although, one could argue that even he was not the worst.

People should learn the mechanism of economy before they are allow to critize policies.

You complain  that obama is doing anythign about about jobs, deficit, living cost but think for a tiny little second.

How do you suppose he can create jobs? Increase Spending?

But wait now you want him to lower deficit?  Cut Spending?

We can't do that then we won't be creating more jobs... whats plan B? Raise Taxes?

But you don't like taxes?  Plan C Raid other countries?

but oh you don't like Wars either? Plan D reduce regulations?

Now he is causing a second housing bubble.  =.=

Lol. Ever heard of Bush?

Not the worst. I liked his policies on the hunger and universities, I think some brazillians really need some help to feed their families. I dislike his approach to corruption and management, but it is not like the others have been better.

I really dislike the fact that in 8 years they haven´t legalized abortion or issued any measures to contain population growth, these are serious problems in the long run and no one really took care yet.
