Question that I hope gets an answer: Will we be required to play through these games ourselves and write the content or can we go surfing the net for the info?

Surfing the net will be fine. It's just a case of doing some research and writing it up in your own words.

Ok sounds good. Looking through Gamewise I notice there 3 tiers of contributers. Basic, Trusted and Admin. Which one will those of us who email you fall in? If I email will you be needing my VgChartz account? What about a Gamewise account?

Oh.. Yes.. I'm very interested in that. Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 are my main games. I can do write ups on all the characters for both games, and any other game preceding either TTT2 and MvC2.

I'm sure I can get up to date with mvc3 also. I don't like that game, but, if it needs to be done, I'll set aside my reasons and just do the write-ups.

Also, Street Fighter X Tekken, and many other fighters I can do. Basically, every game in my collection. As you can see by my posts, I'm perfectly capable of simple English grammar. I can also do things like make banners too,as long as I have the proper dimensions.

Great, drop me an email with your details and I'll get you set up

I'm sorry, but, I'm not to clear on what your e-mail address is.  Should I just send it to contact@vgchartz, or is there someplace else I should send it?  I've sent my details to you as a private message for now.

I would be interested, but I'm so sick of writing/typing this semester that I must pass sadly, but here is a nice picture to fill everyone with a feeling of power.

I haven't gotten any response in an e-mail or anything as of yet, so, until then, I'll be gathering together official Tekken art work. Right now, the Tekken 6 page has artwork from TTT2, SFxT, character names incorrect, etc. Then, after that, I'll take a look at marvel vs. capcom 2 and TTT2.

EDIT:  I somehow missed that tiny post with details.  Either way, I'm still going to get the takken pages straightened out as best I can.

Just a bit of quick information in case people didn't read the Contribution pages on the site. Banners are 810 x 245 and should capture the essence of the character/game/etc in question. Try to get it so they are clear and not pixelated at all (might be challenging with older games).

Alright, I'll do it. But I need access to my computer really so I'll email you with the details in a week if that's OK.

Is there a deadline?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

The main area of work I want to fill at the moment is to work on old franchises. So we have a jobs list with about 50 franchises on it and a reward amount attached to each one. Users sign up, claim a job and work on it.

So for example we may have

- Final Fantasy - http://gamewise.co/franchises/703/Final-Fantasy
- Tekken - http://gamewise.co/franchises/1867/Tekken
- Need for Speed - http://gamewise.co/franchises/1312/Need-for-Speed

And for each franchise, this is the guideline requirements for it to be completed and approved:

Franchise Page

  • Make sure overview is accurate and up to date.
  • Add sections for key franchise information - background, development, recurring themes, reception etc.
  • Make sure that banner and profile pic look good.
  • Games - make sure that all games within the franchise are linked.

Games Within the Franchise and other entities

  • Make sure that each game has a minimum 2 paragraph overview, profile pic and banner. Fill in basic details such as genre, developer, theme.
  • Make sure that all releases are up to date across all platforms with correct box art
  • Add sections for key game info - story, gameplay, editions / dlc, media, important items / weapons / power ups / tracks / levels (depending on the game type)
  • Add all major characters to the game - ensure each character has a profile pic and overview - who they are, what is the major game (s) they appear in and their general purpose and personality.
  • Add all main credits to the game (grouped by type) - ensure as many as possible have a profile pic and overview.

Obviously some franchises have 2-3 games others have 30+ and the reward scales will reflect this.

Sounds awesome, how long is the contract for?
