Since you like RPGs so much and asked for Genesis games. You must play Phanatasy Star IV. It's one of the best RPG from the 16-bit era and easily just as good as what the SNES had to offer. It has great 16bit graphics, fantastic music, a unique and interesting story, great characters, cool manga style cutscenes, and awsome boss fights.

There's also Phantasy Star 2 & 3 which are quality games too, but PS2 is kinda dated and  PS3 is a love it or hate it kind of game.

If you have a Master System there's also Phantasy Star which predates Final Fantasy.

There's also Phantasy Star Online and it's sequels. I know that at least the Dreamcast one can still be played in single player mode and there are private serves still running it online. Awesome.

Other than that I've allready recommend to you the best Saturn games like Panzer Dragoon Saga and you are aware of Skies of Arcadia. There are tons of great Sega games. It sucks I can't get them all on one console anymore, but I still play the best new Sega games. I just have to buy more consoles to play them on.

When dreamcast died I went multi platform for the first time. Dreamcast taught me to choose originality over hype.

I used to be hardcore Sega fan as a kid, still own my ol trusty Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast. But turned to Xbox after (it had JSRF and Panzer Dragoon, and Sega GT). I play tons of halo nowadays... and the Yakuza series (which is leagues better than Shenmue, not even opinion, its fact)

Also recommended Old Skool SEGA:
Dynamite Headdy - Genesis
Rocket Knight Adventures - Genesis
Beyond Oasis - Genesis
Contra: Hard Corps - Genesis
ShadowRun - Genesis
Albert Odyssey - Saturn
Shining Force III - Saturn
Dragon Force - Saturn
Fighters Megamix - Saturn
Burning Rangers - Saturn
Sega Rally - Saturn

Last Sega game I played is in October when I got Sonic Adventure 2 on PSN remembering when I played it on Dreamcast & GameCube. I don't know why but I prefer Sonic Adventure series over newer Sonic's like = S Heroes, S Colours, S Unleacned.

I think I prefer Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 more than newer sonic's because I played them at a young age = 3 to around 6 years old. Back when Sega was in the Console market they made better Sonic games even S Adventure 1 & 2.

BUT RETRO SONIC KILLS IT ALL BECAUSE SONIC WAS NEVER MENT TO TALK😃

My question is, what do you guys play now?

P.S. Can you recommend me some good Sega titles? I'm big on JRPG's and I'm pretty sure I got everything good on Saturn/Genesis/CD/Dreamcast covered, but just in case.

Currently I'm playing:

It's a JRPG that I'm really enjoying, but it's not for everyone.  You could always look into Resonance of Fate and Valkyria Chronicles.

Shining Wisdom on the Saturn - Pretty Much Zelda, But not quite as good. Though its still a great game

Beyond Oasis for genesis- Pretty much Zelda but better. (At least better than the zelda games of its day)

Ooo that looks amazing, one more on my TDL.

YEah, Soul Calibur is Namco. Dont know how you screwed that up.

But to answer your question. Not much. I still need to get the Sonic all stars game. But i do play Sonic Generations which is good. I downloaded the fighting vipers game weeks back, which is good cause i missed out on Saturn.

No, I know that, and I wasn;t refering to what Sega games people play now, just what Sega fans play in general.

Soul Calibur started life on a Sega platform, that's why I mention it.

Btw. Most games that have the sega logo today are usually bad. The sega fan in me weeps a little each time I play a bad sega game, because back in the day it stood for excellence.

There are a lot of exceptions. The Sega games published by Platinum Studios are generally great, and Valkyria Chronicles was awesome. Plys Sonic is hit/miss (Colours, Generations, and Rush were great, others not so much)

Phantasy Star Online is totaly different from the original games. It's an MMO and the others are traditional turn based JRPGs. If you like JRPG you should enjoy Phantasy Star IV. It really is one of the best in the genre.

The Sega Master System is the Sega console that came before the Genesis. The Japanese name for the Genesis was Mega Drive. The Sega Master System is an 8bit competitor to the NES. It was actualy a more powerfull console, but Nintendo locked 3rd party developers into what should have been illegal contracts. If you wanted to release a game on the NES you had to sign a contract that you wouldn't port it to other systems. So the Master System had very little 3rd party support and died off in the USA. In the rest of the world it did great and paved the way for the Sega Genesis. Luckily Nintendo couldn't get away with their contract scam for a second time and the Genesis got tons of 3rd party support.
