As some of you may know I've become less and less active over the span of the last year. It's becoming more apparent that I can't keep up with the pace of the gaming industry or my mod duties as my real life obligations become heavier. Due to this I'm announcing my retirement from the VGChartz community and staff. 

I've made a lot of good friends on here and hope to keep contact with you in other ways (Steam, Facebook, XBL, PSN, etc.) and wish the rest of you all the best. At a time this site was the only thing keeping me from giving in to thoughts of suicide. This place meant more to me than most could imagine at a time but I simply am unable to commit to the site and support it with the quality and standard I feel it deserves. It's fitting that I wear the Montana parody avatar while doing this.

Rather than sit like an old stone, I raised this concern with Axum and Kantor (our fearless mod leaders) and have persuaded them to allow me to pass on the torch of modship in my choosing.

After very little deliberation I've come up with a very easy choice for my replacement. I hereby grant man-bear-pig with the abilities of modship. 

@MBP: You'll get a PM from Axum/Kantor with more details before you get mod powers.
