This was running on a GTX Titan apparently, which is a 4.5 tflops GPU with 6gb of GDDR5; compared to PS4 which has a 2 tflops GPU and 8gb of GDDR5. According to Carmack, "Consoles run 2x or so better than equal PC hardware"... So PC guys, what does this mean? Can PS4's GPU produce results equivalent to a 4 tflops GPU, and therefore run this demo (pretty much)?

edit: may of actually been GTX 680, which is a 5 tflops GPU with 2gb GDDR5.

It looks good... though after all the other tech demos we've seen so far it's nothing spectacular anymore.

very impressive, looks like an early CG movie

I can hardly believe they managed to pull off that level of detail and that level of anti aliasing on a single GTX 680

the gamestar article also mentioned that the old elemental demo was shown running on a PS4 dev kit with no visible difference to the PC demo from last year

Fantastic demo. All we need to see is more immersive gameplay and then I'd be happy. Looks like the graphics war is on even before the PS4 or nextbox is released. When the engines fight it out, the winners are the customers.

I hope so - would save me about £1200 hahaha.

That's the brilliant thing - it means everything will only get better from release, more so that most demos have been rendered in real time and not pre-rendered nonsense.
