Forums - Gaming Discussion - "An Unbiased Review"-Sleeping Dogs- a CannonballZ review

Sleeping dogs I thought was awesome a good 9/10, as for guns I checked online and the easy way of getting and keeping one is causing trouble outside a safe house picking up a gun and run into the safehouse as you lose the cops and you keep the gun (until you die I think)

I thought the story was pretty good and there is about 4 (or 5) DLCs I haven't got any of them so I don't know if there good or not and one came out recently (year of the snake I think it is)

but overall a pretty good game and the best thing was I got the special edition for £30 on the day of release

Around the Network

you lose the gun everytime you load a savegame though

I loved the game, and I hated the previous true crimes. The jumping from car to car was fun, and generally I never had any issues not getting a high wanted rating unless I purposely did.
I never had issues, with most of the things. But you did, so good review, I'd give it an 8.5, and I liked it more than every type of this game except for San Andreas, and Red Dead Redemption (if RDR counts)

The graphics were great, but I played the PC version.

Funny. I've just picked this game two days ago, and so far I'm loving it. I like the hard-boiled chinese appeal of this game (I tend to love Bruce Lee's movies, and Wei reminds me a lot of him - heck, there's some outfits based on Bruce Lee's outfits in his movies). Same reason I loved Stranglehold, even though one could argue that game was average (I loved it).

I'm against using a score to say how good this game is (because that's pretty biased), so I just say that I don't agree that taking away guns detract from the fun. I like how you go unnarmed most of the time (Though I agree that there are some sequences that you are the only guy who brings fist to a gun fight xD) and guns are lacking overall. The story is so far so good; not a best-selling book but better than your typical undercover agent. Probably what this game is missing is some planes, or some kind of air-travelling. That would have been pretty awesome. But the game is always throwing some things to do in order not to get bored. Some of them are tedious, of course. But the rest are pretty interesting to do.
