In the west, sure, but even with a PS3 price drop, Japan will put 3DS so far ahead I doubt it could outpace it WW for the year.

Ummm??? MH4 is a main release and its more popular than i was before. MH4 will most likely beat GoW this year

Of course it will, Ascension is a prequel. But GoW is more popular than before too, since GoW 3 was the bestselling game. My point is that the difference between the two franchises isn't enough to give an edge to any of them. Pokemon is another history, that will give a nice edge. Last Of Us is a complete unknown, but it won't be as big as Uncharted. Anyway, it could go to any side.

The only thing that would change the game would be if the GT6 rumour on PS3 is true, but it is unlikely.

GT6 will be huge if true on PS3 but pokemon is pretty unstoppable.

GT6 would dominate EU, but I don't think it will happen. I'm more inclined to see a GT6 for PS4 and a Vita one. GT5 sales are healthy now and the other PS consoles will need it, not the PS3.

Edit: Unless they are planning a GT6 with a cross release between PS3 and Vita like GT4 (kind of) did. Then a GT7 for PS4 in some years.

WTF?????? All i said was it beat everybody else, i kno There were no big games at all except for Paper Mario! AC for japan as well, but this year will be different! Pokemon alone will push hardware over new heights with at least 2 unannounced 3DS 1st party titles!
