Of course it will, Ascension is a prequel. But GoW is more popular than before too, since GoW 3 was the bestselling game. My point is that the difference between the two franchises isn't enough to give an edge to any of them. Pokemon is another history, that will give a nice edge. Last Of Us is a complete unknown, but it won't be as big as Uncharted. Anyway, it could go to any side.
The only thing that would change the game would be if the GT6 rumour on PS3 is true, but it is unlikely.
