Well, yes. I do assume that, of course. But I said that largely because the Dreamcast had the most amazing software support that I have ever seen.

Nintendo's library alone will make the Wii-U comfortably outsell the Dreamcast. The only way this is not going to happen is for a easy hack to come out for the Wii-U in the upcoming months. The same thing cost the definitive downfall of the Dreamcast.

Well there is a word for a person like that, unforunately I cannot say it on here because people are a bit testy about that word.

Time for context yet again, ok Sega was losing hundreds of millions of dollars for years before the Dreamcast, even with that it still lasted 3 yeas in Japan, and over two everywhere else. Nintendo, on the other hand has huge cash reserves that are said to be in the billions of dollars, and an army of game series that sell over 5 million for a joke. Still think Dreamcast will sell more?

I love DC but let's be honest here, Wii U's lineup is going to absolutely annihilate it in the coming years, if not months. Well, at least for the average person, perhaps not for the irrational Nintendo hater, but they're going to hate Nintendo no matter what games they crank out anyway..

Change WHAT future? Wii U isn't "doomed" by any stretch. The shit's been out for a few months, that's it. The big hitters are coming, and Wii U will still outsell it's competition.

In that alternate case....no I wouldn't be satisfied with that at all. Why? Because I don't want Nintendo to "die". They've made great games that I enjoy playing my entire life. And I enjoy their consoles...I wouldn't want them to be 3rd party.

As someone who owned a Dreamcast – yes definitely Wii U should outsell it! I loved the DC back in the day (Sonic, Power Stone, Shenmue, Soul Calibur, RE: Vode Veronica etc) - and of course the memory card which was like mobile games now - but it was really sad to see a good system die. I’d hate to see the same with Wii U.
