The soundtrack is dreadful.

I mean, the setting is great, the combat is nice, fluid and really addicting, I'd love the story and cutscenes to be drastically reduced but they are bearable; but I detest the soundtrack.

Does it get better? Whose idea was it to put a bunch of yelling instead of some nice, inspiring music? Or is this a DMC staple?

I haven't heard it, but that definitely doesn't describe the previous games' soundtracks. I guess they wanted a soundtrack to fit the new punkkkkk as fuckkkkkk Dante.

Nope. Just dubstep, screamo, and aggropunk the entire time. And no, it's not a series staple. They went from Rock, industrial rock, techno, light metal, etc. to dubstep, screamo, agrropunk, and aggrotech.

I think Bayonetta and GoW have pretty good soundtracks, but yeah, DMC's soundtrack, from what I've heard, is pretty awful.

I still wanna play the game, though.

yeah, those are pretty good. I guess I was too broad haha.

I like the soundtrack for what it counts. But I love heavy metal so...
