Again you're twisting facts with rumours, Sony has OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED their RAM and other aspects of their system.

So you understand the Nextbox specs will be CONFIRMED too.

My god! Come on are you for real or what? Even if these specs are the final specs we will see at their event you can't just say that they are final! What you are comparing here is confirmed specs where Ps4 will have a Jaguar CPU with GDDR5 memory and as for X720 no one other than MS and their partners know what the hell they are producing. So unless you got a X720 in your bedroom I suggest that you don't spread your unproven fact around here (I hope Vgleaks stops posting the same thing all over again all the time).

A rumor is called a rumor because of one thing only "a statement or report current without known authority for its truth" basically meaning that there is no way we know if it is true or not until MS in this case tells us the real specs.

Here is a demonstration for you

Breaking News: MS chooses Intel as their NextBox CPU maker!

Today morning reports came in that MS may go with an Intel CPU, the rumors have been shared from the user Hasonap on VgChartz which says that his anonymous source has officially handed him evidence of the discovery where documents confirm that MS has a dev kit with Intel components and what is supposed to be nVidia - no word on what part nVidia has in all this.

We will share anything more if we get our hands on it but for know if we go by rumors MS may have the upper hand in processing power and maybe graphical powers too!

lol expect these are the real Nextbox specs.

Saw this over on NeoGaf:

Xbox next might be using Microsoft's own developed ram

Passing along some info I just posted on B3D.

Xbox 3's CPU from a FLOPs perspective seems it may have as much as double the performance of "vanilla" Jaguar cores

It's a joint venture, much like Thunderbolt inbetween Apple and Intel, or good ol' USB. It doesn't mean that the Nextbox will be using it since I don't think the tech is final yet, but if it is, I'd be surprised and all for it since 7x the bandwidth of DDR3 at lower power consumption is pretty nice to have no matter what device we are talking about.

7x? I thought the article said 3x

NVM. found it.

It's kinda vague really, it could mean anything, could be 7 times more efficient on power, or bandwidth, or latency, or the overall, they didn't really specify, but it's good news for all computing hardware for sure if the project is to bear fruit.

OMG you said it again, you just don't give up do you? Who the hell told you these were the real specs? VGLeaks?

Was it not clear in my post that anything we say right now is pure speculation and only rumors it is in nowhere a true fact nor the real nextbox specs(unless MS says so) clear your mind a bit and just leave it at that.

I even made a Rumor article based pruely on my so called anonymous imaginary tipster to describe my point :P
