$140 retail price.

Likely 100% mark-up at least as that's the common route with accessories.

So actual cost is somewhere around $80, which fits the cost in reports for Nintendo warranty replacements that stated something like $85.

And it doesn't have an OLED screen. The software claim is dubious too and has nothing to do with the price.
