Which Tier does Zelda belong in terms of sales? SS sold 4 million but HD Zelda on WiiU might sell more.

Are the Excite____ games considered a franchise?

I'm...I'm not sure....

I think it could be included.

They seem to be deliberately named 'Excite...' as a series. Even when almost none of the games have much to do with each other, they're similar enough. The first couple were Motocross based racers, but the recent games seems to branch out to other similar un-tradional racing methods. I guess it's like Motorstorm. I know the first game on NES sold extremely well, but the N64 game and the Wii games didn't. I know there's also been several rereleases and remakes on at least a the GBA. But anyway, because there's been a game as recent as on the Wii, I'd put it in D-Tier.

Zelda is odd, the first instalment on home consoles hits A tier but 2nd is usually B tier. also theres the handhelds to consider i guess. i kind of rate Zelda as a Gears, Uncharted equivelent

A sequel was just announced. The first game sold 3,67 mill. in japan alone, so I think the new one should at least make 1.
