Yeah do you remember why this was spread in the first place ?

The USA had an embargo against Irak. And nobody was allowed to sell computerchips that exceeded a certain (today laughable) treshhold of computational power because at a certain level the Chips inside were able to make the necessary calculations to guide a missile in theory, and the PS2 was over that treshhold as first console. Intel and AMD werent allowed to sell their chips either but since PS2 was considered a toy the press made a huge unnecessary deal out of it.

This is the exact same crap that was said about the PS2 then the PS3....The "real" super computers that are availabe today make the PS4 look like a Commodore 64. In fact, My 1 1/2 old PC is specked higher than the PS4.
