If you like the next Zelda for U to be darker, Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask are still above anything in Twilight Princess.

If you want more hideous, terrific enemies, still Ocarina/Majora's combo is superior to Twilight Princess.

If you want a more obscure tone story in Zelda, still, Ocarina/Majora's is your choice.

If you want the game to have an artwork more similar to the Zelda's essence looks above to my other sentences.

Fighting the Evil King in Ocarina or the Demon Demise in Skyward Sword is darker than Zant or last minute not dark appearance of Ganondorf.

Phantom Ganon and Bongo Bongo are still more creepy than any boss in Twilight Princess. Ghirahim speechs are darker than Zant ones. Ganon's Castle is the most obscure dungeon compared to all of the ones in Twilight Princess. Looking at the moon falling, listening the final hours and getting the Fiercy Deity Mask in Majora's Mask is above than the twilight, Zant, Ganondorf, wolf Link and Palace of Twilight together.

And I'm just talking about 3D games, imagine if we take in count 2D games as for exampe Link's blood needed to resurrect Ganon in Zelda II or our quest in the Dark World in A Link to the Past.

I can understand people believing Twilight Princess is some what dark/obscure just by looking at it, but it is far from being the darkest Zelda.

Although Majoras Mask is my favorite Zelda and is also the darkest. I dissagree with most of what you said.

I'd like to hear why you disagree. It will be nice to know your point of view.

If you are speaking art style, then yes.

You mean with the majority of the art being flooded with different shades of brown and grey?
Honestly, I wasn't really a fan of it, it reminded me too much of a Microsoft game.

Hope you're not saying that for every Microsoft game.

Nope. If I remember correctly, Twilight Princess didn't contribute much to the series beyond a some new combat foibles (don't start on the motion controls - it was almost all wrong).

I much prefer Wind Waker and Skyward Sword by virtue of the pioneering spirit I have come to expect from Zelda ever since its inception.

Yes. Just not like SS and since WW is getting a HD remake all the more reason to be more like TP.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

As much as we would all like it, it won't be happening anytime soon. I heard they're going with the Skyward Sword look which wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. I would love a darker artistic styled Zelda with an epic story, melodies, much like OoT. If the game would have looked like the demo shown at E3 then the game would have been on fire.

I'd like to add that Wind Waker is the darkest Zelda game in the series. Except for maybe Majora's Mask.

It is post-apocalyptic, after all.

Skyward Sword was pretty bleak too in retrospect.

No, out of all the Zeldas I have played excluding the original it was the worst. Very slow starting. Has a real lack of world guidance leading to quick boredom. The Wii controls occasionally were poor. The dungeons were fun, but everything in between was pretty dull. I would take a game with an radar and not the old school style of game were everything is a mystery. I liked Ocarina and Link to the past way more of course I was a lot younger when playing them, and my gaming tastes evolved.

Well, Microsoft does have some colourful games. Though it is not the sort of thing I associate them with. When I think of Microsoft, I think of first person shooters, and very Doom/Quake style graphics.
