Well I'm already paying for + since it is worth it to me. If they stripped features and charged us to access the remaining features (like Netflix), then that would be another case.

You thought the HATE for M$ was bad imagine if this rumor is true. Every Sony fans will blame M$ for this.

The basic PS3 online functions will most likely remain free on the PS4, PS+ however will get beefed up into and re-branded to "PS World" and will add new exclusive premium features/functions, and will be optional.

And i don't think it will have tiers like gold and silver, but rather "buy 1 sub annually and get all this free". Basically PS+ on steroids and a small price increase of $5 on the current PS+ pricing options.

would be funny times on vgchartz if online gaming would cost money but not sure what i would have to laugh more about, the people who would try to defend it then (some of them who said it's ridiculous to pay for online gaming) or those who would try to talk crap about it (which would be probably some 360 fans who pay for it as well)

I am telling you with all the news about them wanting to be an entertainment console. They will charge for online and PS+ together. All you apps will be free viewing so you can still have an entertainment hub. Microsoft makes to much money doing it. Sony would be stupid not to go this route.
