Dunno about sleepr hit but the IP and that universe has so much potential. The MP is fantastic, what they mess up is the Single Player.

Just let the fans play as either

1. A Helghan...maybe a special unit within Helghan where you are contracted to go and kill Rico (A gaf user came up with this idea, forgot his name tho)

2. A new lead character. Sev is ok but not the lead character material, more like a likeable sidekick.

The franchise definitely has potential to be bigger than what it is now. So I hope they take fan feedback and use them well. Look forward to the next KZ

and don't forget, GG is rumored to be making a RPG too :D should be interesting

This. So much potential but all thats being wasted. Killzone universe is probably one of the most interesting in videogames.

Killzone 2 deserved 4 times the sales it got. Like with many sony games, it never got the marketing it deserved. Btw the game was too hardcore I reckon, the heavy controls made many complain.

I love that sentence. I really do.

"I think the controls suck."
"No, the game is too hardcore for you!"

Awesome.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

It has the potential. It could be Killzone 4 or could be 5.
You never know.

I doubt it very much; Killzone just doesn't have the accessibility that something like COD does. Killzone is intentionally not user friendly, it aims for grittiness rather than slick simplicity.

It doesn't have eenough casual appeal to be huge.

Considering that Respawn and Bungie are coming out with new games that are supposedly sci-fi shooters and EA and Activision will likely have massive marketing budgets for them it'll probably be an achievement for Killzone 4 to even match Killzone 2's sales.

he's saying it isn't a twitchy shooter like COD.  Your character moves more realistically as opposed to sprinting around at 100mph and lining up his sights in a millisecond after leaping tall buildings in a single bound.  This goes against what people expect in a shooter today so they view it as slow and boring many times.

Get Your Portable ID!Lord of Ratchet and Clank

Duke of Playstation Plus

Warden of Platformers

Killzone's clunkyness will prevent it from being a mainstream hit, CoD wins because it's runs smooth as butter and has a nice arcade feel to it.

Frankly, Killzone 2's character movement and aiming were no more realistic than COD, unless I was supposed to be playing an overweight drunk. I'm sure real soldiers don't have as much weighty inertia. I don't and I'm far from a soldier.

lol Sony wishes
