No. The main issue isn't the quality of the games but the gameplay and story. Killzone doesn't lend itself well to easily pick up and play (imo) as it's not a traditional twitch shooter so it will get less of a following anyway, then there is also the fact that the characters don't lend themselves to easily sell the game (other than the Helghast baddies).

The game is what it is and doesn't need to sell COD numbers to be successful and you could argue that if it did make changes to sell more then the game and franchise would probably be weaker for it. COD is good at what it does, Killzone as it's own niche that it excels at that so why change what made it a success this generation?

If it is a ps4 launch title then yes, it could be. Graphically, Killzone 2 and 3 are proabably the best looking console games this gen. I expect Killzone 4 to have the same graphic fidelity. Although you never know, look what happened with Halo 4.

Going by your numbers the worst case would be for it to sell less.
